About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

travelling from UK to manila and have to change flights at Beijing airport do I need a transit visa?

I will be staying in airport as my flight arrives at 10 am and departs at 4 pm same day

HI Andrew,
if you do not wanna leave the Airport, you do not need any transit type. After arrival you pass just the "International Transfer" Counter, re-passes another security check and then you are directly in the international departure Area.
