About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can we do the 72-hour free transit visa? I am holding an US passport?

I am going to Seoul. I would like to travel from Seoul to Honk Kong with a 2 day stay in Beijing. The trip would be Seoul - Shanghai - Hong Kong - Shanghai - Seoul.

Yes, you are eligible for 72 hours transit at Beijing Airport for both trips.
