About:Chinese Embassy in Uganda

Can a U.S. citizen travelling in Uganda go to China Embassy in Kampala & receive a China visa?

Please respond if it is possible for a U.S. citizen travelling in Uganda from August 10 to August 16 to visit the China Embassy in Kampala Uganda to receive a China tourist type in his passport for travel to China August 24 to August 30 (his departure would be from Cincinnati, Ohio to Beijing on August 24). He would have all the required documentation (application, business invite letter with seal from China, and passport etc.) with him ready to present.

It is possible.

But it is suggested to call that embassy to confirm any other more documents are needed, since applying in that country is not so easy and more documents may be required. The phone number is +256 414 236895.
