About:Hong Kong Airport Express

Arriving time at Hong Kong airport

My parents flight leave at 1:05 pm. When do they need to leave Mongkok so they won't miss the flight? Is it the same like in US? 3 hours b/4 for Int'l flight?

If it’s international flight, they need to reach the airport at least 3 hour in advance, so they may set off at 9pm.

If you use the in-town checkin at HK or Kowloon stations, you need be at the airport only 90 minutes before departure.

It means that passengers of some airlines can check in between 90min to and one full day ahead of departure in the downtown, in Kowloon and HK stations and they need to buy Airport Express train ticket to take the service. With that, they don't need to check in the airport any more.
