About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Clarification about the 72-hour free transit

Hello,

I'll be traveling on Air China through Beijing. I'll have a 22 hour layover in Beijing on the way back from Manila to the US. I'd like to take advantage of the visa-free transit described above, but I'm confused about whether or not I qualify. Also, if I do, can you explain what precisely I must do upon arrival at Beijing airport to facilitate my passage? Thank you.

Since you fly Manila - Bejing - USA, you are qualified for that policy.
You need to tell Air China that you want to enjoy the 72-hour free transit before getting on the flight. Upon reaching Beijing, you just need to walk to the 72-hour free transit passenger counter to get a stay permit stampped on your passport to get out of the airport.
