About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

Do we have to get Hongkong Transit visa when traveling to Canada?

how many days they take to get it
can we get it on Sunday Or Saturday.. (Today 2AUG/3AUG) we are traveling on wednesday

Yes, you need to have a visit/transit type when transfering from HK to Canada.
After applying, it takes around 4 weeks to get it in the end, so you may not able to get it on Sunday or Saturday.
