About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

US to South Korea to Guangzhou

Hi, I will be flying from Texas, USA to South Korea. Then the next day I will fly from South Korea to Guangzhou. I will stay in Guangzhou 2 night, then fly back to South Korea. I will stay in South Korea for 4 nights and then fly back to Texas, USA. Would this qualify for a 72 hour visa?

Thanks! Amanda

Since you fly from South Korea to Guangzhou and then back to South Korea, you are not qualified for the 72-hour free transit policy. You are suggested to apply for a single tourist type for visiting China in your own country.
