Return ticket needed?

Hello,
I have a Business type (F) for 90 days for China because I have an Invitation Letter. When I´m at the airport to check in, do I have to show a return ticket from China to my home country or is a check-in with a one-way ticket possible? If I only had a L type, I would definetly need a return ticket, but what about Business type? Thank you!
