About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transfering in Guangzhou

Hi, I'm holding a Cambodia passport and I will wait for my connecting flight to Netherlands for 9 hours at Guangzhou airport so I want to get a room to stay while waiting for my plane, is there any possibilities to get a free visa for 73 hours ?

Based on the policy, you are not able to enjoy the 72-hour free transit policy, because your country is not listed in the Qualified Countries' List and your transfering time is over 72 hours.

But since you only stay in Guangzhou for around 9 hours (within 24 hours), you can enjoy the 24-hour free transit, which has not limitation on the countries. If you want to get out of the airport during your stay, you can apply for a stay permit at the immigration in the airport to get out.
