About:Chinese Embassy in Egypt

Visa application for a UK citizen living in Cairo.

I am a UK citizen living in Cairo. I am invited to a congress in Xi'an next September (Afro Asian Congress of Ophthalmology). Kindly supply information on application, opening hours, required papers, and how long does it take. Thanks. ghj

You need to prepare your passport, application form, your invitation letter from the congress and your proof of legal stay in Egypt.

Their opening hours are 08:30 to 12:00 from Sunday to Thursday. Usually the processing days are around 4 days.

regarding china invitation letter, you can ask embassy whether it is ok for company invitation lettters. if not, you have to apply china duly invitation letter issued by authority unit.
