About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Return flight with same final destination but stop over in Shanghai

Dear All,

I have a question here, can I enjoy the visa exemption if I fly KUL-PVG and then less than 72 hours after I would do KUL-HKG and HKG-KUL bought as a one-way trip PVG-KUL. So it is a round-trip in terms of final destination but not exiting Shanghai to fly back straight to KUL and using another airlines. Thanks in advance for your feedback on this.

Regards.

Do you mean your transit is like "KUL - Shanghai - KUL"? If so, you cannot enjoy the 72-hour exemption policy.
