About:Shanghai Travel

We have a 16 hour of layover in Shanghai. Where can we go and how to go?

We would like to know if we need to apply for any temporary pass or visa to get out to the city. Is it convenient and safe for us to travel to city or should we just stay at airport?

U are recommended to take a short visit in the city instead of staying in the airport for so long transit!

Upon landing, you can easily apply for a stay permit in the airport, with which you are allowed to get out of the airport. During this 16 hours, you can visit the Bund and take a cruise to view the Huangpu River. Also you are recommended to see the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Jin Mao Tower. After this, go for shopping at local famous Nanjing Road pedestrian.
