bus route (chengdu-huanglong-jiuzhaigou-chengdu)

Question

Hi, i plan to go to JZG in september early.Can you give me suggestion what is the best route if i want to go by bus from chengdu? First go to huanglong or JZG? How many days it will take if go and go back by bus?And is it possible to see yellow and red leaves there? Thanks a lot.

I had been to JZG and Huanglong once, and the following route may be fit for you. You are suggested to go to JZG first, where you can spend one or two days. Later in Huanglong, there are cable cars to the mountain, so it is not very energy-consuming and half a day is enough for the spot. To travel by bus, it may take five days: two days for transportation, and three days for sightseeing. In early September, I’m afraid the leaves haven’t totally turn yellow and red, October is the best season for the scene, but the lakes, the highlights of JZG, are really beautiful.
