About:Embassy & Consulate of Laos in China

USA - kunming

Hi!

I am currently in America, trying to find out how much a tourist visa is, and where I can apply for it and the steps that come after applying. Do I just send payment, along with my original passport? And do I need other paperwork? And if so.. Where can I take care of it? I'm trying to leave around a month and a half. And still have no idea what I'm doing. If someone could help me. I greatly appreciate it. I don't kno if I'll be back on this site anytime soon, but if someone could email me. That would be great. Tjr832@hotmail.com

The fee is 140USD for a Chinese tourist L type.
You can go to the local Consulate-General to apply for it. Which state do you live? I may tell you the corresponding consulate-general based on your city.

You need to handle your original passport, your application form with recent taken photos, your round trip ticket to China and hotel booking confirmation letter to apply for L one.

I currently live in Minnesota. And ok.. So original passport, I've got already, my application paperwork with two photos attached. A booking letter of the hotel id be staying at. And 140 I've got as well, so you wouldn't have a link that could bring me to the application process would u? And would I send them payment through mail or wire money?

You need to go to the Consulate of Chicago to apply.
It is a pity that there is no link for you and you need to go to the consulate for applying yourself or ask a representative or travel agency to apply for you.
You need to take your credit card when you go there for payment.
