What's the best way for a one day return trip to Wuzhen from Shanghai?

Hi, Imma. From SH South Bus Station, there are frequent buses for reaching Wuzhen directly, so you can take a bus from the south bus station. The first bus from the south station is around 07:15.
Taking boat is only available in the city proper. It is suggested to stay in the water town for around 6 to 7 hours if time is possible.

For the Wuzhen, one day is only possible for this water town itself. If you want to go to other plalces, you can visit on other days.

I would appreciate if you could confirm me the address of the SH South Bus Station. I can only find the South "Railway station" at Laohumin Road 439 Nongyuan , is it in the same place?

Do you know where I can consult the timetable SH to Wuzhen - Wuzhen to SH? is the frequency the same in work days or the weekends?

The south bus station is at No. 666, Shilong Road.
Outside the south railway station, you can easily find the Liuzhou Road, so walk along the Liuzhou Road to look for the South Bus Station. Maybe, you can use the Google map to direct you.

The timetable of SH-Wuzhen is 07:15, 07:45, 09:17, 10:04, 11:07, 11:34, 13:14, 14:17, 15:27, 16:14 and 18:17. For the returning trip, the buses are at 07:00, 07:50, 09:05, 09:30, 11:20, 12:00, 13:00, 13:50, 16:15, 17:20, 18:00. The timetables are the same on both weekends and during weekdays.
