About:China Visa Application in USA

I reside in Colorado. Can I apply for a Visa at the NY consulate?

I will be visiting NYC in the next couple weeks and would like to know if I can apply while I am in New York?

Sorry, you can't apply in New York. You need to apply from the Chinese consulate in Chicago.
