Bus from Snow Town to other cities

Will go to Snow Town in Jan then to Jilin City or Changchun.

Is there a bus available from Snow Town to those cities? If so, where to take/what's the schedule/how long does it take and how much to pay?

As I know, there is no direct bus service to any or the two cities. You are recommended to transfer in Harbin, for which there are direct buses from Snow Town (leaving at 11:00 and 13:00). It takes around 5.5h to Harbin. After that, u are recommended to take an express train to either of your destinations.

If I hire a taxi from snow town to Jilin city or Changchun, what would be an idea price?

Probably, no taxi driver wants to travel from Jilin or Chuangchun City to that place. Visitors usually hire a car to that town. As I know, it costs around 150RMB per person from Jilin to that town, but not very clear about the price from Changchun to that place.
