train ticket pick-up

Question

Hello!  We would like to purchase train tickets but we weren't sure where to have them held/sent.  We could have them held at the train station or sent to the hotel we're staying at.  What we're worried about is that the trip is for mid-October, but we'd like to purchase the tickets now.  Will they be safe and not get lost for 3+ months?Thank you very much!
