Am I allowed to take candies and school supplies into china?

the candies include:
1 lb or warhead candies
2 lbs of airheads
2 lbs of skittles and starbursts
and about 40 small packs of fruit snacks

the school supplies includes: 30 pens, 30 pencils, 6 scissors, 6 glue sticks, stickers and small prizes such as bubbles and small foam balls

they're all for the kids of a friend I'm visiting. Would I have to declare any of it?

Yes, it's ok for you to carry candies and school supplies into China. And you needn't declare them. However, you should put scissors in your checked luggage. It's not allowed to carry them on board. By the way, fresh fruits and vegetables are not allowed to enter China too.
