About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I allowed for the 72 hours free transit Visa? I am German Citizen with German passport.

Hi there,
I plan to travel from Istanbul to Shanghai and 24hrs later onwards to Zurich, Swiss.

I am afraid not, because this will not be considered as a direct transit via Shanghai on your way from Istanbul to Swiss.
