About:Yanzishan Park

visit to forbidden city and Tienanmen square

i will be staying in Beijing Regal Hotel, Wangfujjing, how far is Forbidden city and T'men squre from there and pl guide us how to visit these places by bus / train from the hotel place in detail.

The hotel is around 2.5km to the Forbidden City around 3km to the Tiananmen Square.

You are suggested to take a taxi to reach both of the places.
If you want to take a bus, you need to walk cross the Dongchang Hutong to Sha Tan Lu Kou Nan Zhan Bus Station on Beiheyan Avenue. There you can take a bus line 2 to reach Tian An Men Guang Chang Xi (Tiananmen Square West) Station. Then you can reach the Tiananmen Square. After visiting the square, you pass the Tiananmen to reach the Meridian Gate to enter the Forbidden City.
