city hotel to pudong

Question

Hello I am staying in City Hotel, downtown Shanghai. I have to go pick my wife from Pudong terminal 2 arrival (not departure). Can I go by subway and come back to same hotel on subway (there would be some luggage)?Which station should I board, which line etc etc. Very confusing.

Your hotel is close to the Jing'an Temple Station and the West Nanjing Road Station, having the similar distance, so you can walk either of the station to take the subway line 2 to reach the Pudong airport directly. Or you can take a Jing'an Temple Station where you can find the airport shuttle bus line 2 to reach the Pudong airport directly.
