Train Travel

Hello there, I could not buy a train ticket from Shanghai to Luoyang Longmen online due to being sold out 17 days before my trip, but then I looked for other options and tried booking Shanghai to Xian on same train and got the booking for a bit extra, so never give up, just think out of the square it seems. So my question is, can I get off the train at Luoyang even though my ticket says Xian? I know I can in Australia, but not sure of China rules, Thankyou, From , Barry Hayward
