Hi, we are Australian going to Vietnam for a holiday and would like to go to china for 7 days to tour and then going on to japan , can we get a tour visa at air port? Is it easy to? And how much?

No, you have to apply for tourist L in advance through Chinese embassy in Vietnam. It is easy if you provide flight ticket to and out of China as well as the hotel reservation for your stay. Fee is USD30 for a signle entry per person.
