About:Zhangjiajie Attractions

5 day trip in Zhangjiajie

Hi Im planning to arrive to ZJJ for 5 days and stay in Yijiaqin Hotel.I would like to see all the atractions including Phoenix town( as one day trip).And after these 5 days I will continue to travel by train from Changsha to Chengdu.
Please any advise how to plan this 5 days trip step by step.
Should i change hotel for some of these days or is it ok to stay in one.
Is it handy to buy 3 day ticket to see all these attractions?

Here is my suggestion:
D1: ZJJ National Forest Park - Golden Whip Stream - Yuanjiajie Scenic Area
D2: Yangjiajie Scenic Area - Grand View Terrace Scenic Area (Daguantai)
D3: Tianzishan - He Long Park - Ten Miles Gallery - One Hundred Precipice (Baichixia)
D4: Tianmenshan - head for Phoenix Town
D5: Phoenix Town travel

You can stay in the Yijiaqin Hotel, but it is in ZJJ city, not convenient enough to be a base. For example, the sunrise of Daguantai is perfect. You can stay nearby and see the sunrise. Then head for other destinations.

It is convenient to get the tickets for the attractions upon arrival. Don't worry!

Are you sure that u wanna have a DIY trip? Personally, it can be better to join a tour if you wanna make full use of your time to cover all.

It is suggested to live in local hostels in that place.
As I know, the ZJJ International Youth Hostel, Zhongtian International Youth Hostel, Wulingyuan Zhongtian International Youth Hostel are three good ones.
