About:Hong Kong Transportation

HK to Nanjing/Shanghai by train/Ship - whats the cost/travel time and convinience/comfort?

How convinient and comfortable would it be to travel form Hong Kong to Nanjing/Shanghai by train or ship.
How is the connectivity? What is the cost? And duration of travel?
Would it be more convininet to fly (it is post surgery travel and hence checking train/ship as an alternative to flying)

The ship is not available among the three places, so you need to use the train to travel. The trains are very comfortable.
The fare is around 530HKD from Hung Hom to SH by direct train and it takes around 19 hours, but there is no direct between HK and Nanning.

Considering your current situation, it is suggested to fly directly, which will be fast and much more comfortable.
