It's not a problem. Many applicants are worried whether they should say "Yes" or "No" when they face the question "Did you commit any crime before?". Some choose to tell the the truth and then they say "Yes". Finally, they get what they want successfully. Some of those who choose to tell a lie also get their visa. It all depends on the consular officers.
