About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Transfer at PVG

I am arriving in PVG on an international flight from United Airlines and then will be taking a flight on Shenzhen airlines from PVG to PEK. Do I have to get my checked bags from the UA flight and then repeat the check in process? I have never done something like this so I am a bit uncertain on what to do.

Yes, I remember the luggage claim is neccesary at PVG, so you need to check bags from the UA flight.
