About:How to Apply for a China Visa

My friends and I are traveling to China from July 31st to August 10th, 2014.

When should we apply for a visa?

Is it a Tourist L that we will need if we are just visiting for touring and pleasure (vacation)?

How long does the process take?

Yes, you need to apply for a tourist L, a single entry is enough. The processing takes 4 working days. The best time for application is one month prior to the travel, but you can apply now if you like as it is valid for 3 months after issue date.
