i have a friend in china. we want to communicate. will china is block our emails?

I have a friend in China I want to talk to often.  But my emails are always blocked.  Will my email always be blocked?  Is there something I can do to work around that?

Do you use gmail? As I know, it is not blocked in China that often, but sometimes, its connection is not stable, hence your failure for delivery. Anyway, if it really doesn't work well, change a hotmail address and it usually works well. I am studying in a university in China by the way.
