About:China Customs Declaration

My husband and I will be traveling to China and staying for 6 months do we need to declare things like our laptops,ipods,cameras,phones etc? Also my Chinese friend wanted me to bring her 2 iPhone4s would there be tax on those? And am I allowed to bring a block of cheese?

Will have to pay tax on the 2 new iphones, I am afraid. For your personal stuff, that's okay and no need to declare.
