i need information on how i can apply for a visa to hong kong.

Question

I am a Zambian citizen based in Sweden and i want to attend a conference in Hong Kong in July. I was directed to go to the chinese embassy in Sweden but they said they only process Visas to mainland China. How can i apply for it in the quickest way? Do Zambians need it to Hong Kong?
