About:Hong Kong Visa Application

Another urgent question

I am a citizen of Iran and on F1 (student) visa in US. I am applying for a Hong Kong visa for the summer to attend a symposium. In the application form there are three questions:

1) Country/Territory of Domicile
2) Length of Residence in Country of Domicile
3) Please state the country/territory (including your present country/territory of domicile) where you have already obtained permanent residence

I took "Country of Domicile" as the "home country," i.e., in my case, Iran. Accordingly, the second would mean the duration of my residence in Iran before moving to US for my studies. And the third, again Iran. A friend of mine just told me that "Country of Domicile" is where I currently reside and therefore would be United States. And accordingly changes the answer to the second question. I quickly looked it up online and I got contradictory answers. Apparently in different legal systems (China, US,...) its meanings differ. Could you please please help me with this? I have to submit my application tomorrow morning. I appreciate your help.
