About:Former Residence of Lu Shaoxu

If i decide to study while in china with a L visa, is it possible to change the status in china?

Im planning on visitting china for 1 month but I'd like also to check upon some universities to learn mandarin; or I'll have to leave the country and then try back in?

You have to leave and apply for student visa for reentry. You should be informed that the option to apply in HK is impossible now if you are not a HK resident with valid HK ID.
