Visa requirement to Hong Kong for Certificate of Identity

Is a holder of a Certificate of Identity in Malaysia required to apply for a visa if he/she intends to travel to Hong Kong? If yes, where can the application be made and how long is the process period?

Thank you.

Hi, I am thinking you need to apply for it in advance. Because the airport immigration in HK will reject the entry for those holding this MCI without pre applied of HK visa.
