Hi, I will travel from Shanghai to BJ on 14 th June, will be arriving 12:30 by fast train. I want to stay in a reasonable hotel close to North railway station as I read it's an easy way to get to the Great Wall by train, and also it would be easier to go to the airport later.  Do you think if I can make it if I  start my journey around 3pm to the Great Wall Wondering? if that's a good idea?Also Can anybody please recommend any hotel around North railway station? Of course, something which can book online.

As for the accommodation nearby, I just know Beijing Taiti Hotel at Xizhimen Outer. It is around 1.5km from Beijing North Train Station! This hotel can be booked through TravelChinaGuide. Just try it. During that time, the operating hours of the wall are till 19:00, so u can still visit based on your plan. But to fully have fun there, you are advised to go there earlier.

Hi Amythanks for the reply.In my previous question you mentioned the name of Beijing Taiti Hotel, I made a booking through trip adviser but when searching the hotel on Google map, google map shows it as CLOSED !!!!What is that? Is the information on the map is old or its a different hotel? ( on the map the name is Starway Taiti hotel).
