About:China Visa on Arrival

Shenzhen and Hainan visa

Is it now possible to get that at Shekou Port now? I know that last year it was not possible.
I want to travel to Hainan in September (only 1 person). Can I get VOA in Hainan for 30 days?

Yes, it is possible to get a VOA at Shenzhen Shekou Port, but it depends on the nationality. May I know what passport do you hold?

I'm afraid the VOA is not available in Hainan. However, citizens holding the ordinary passport of some countries (26) are exempt from visa requirements when they travel to Hainan Province as a group (at least 5 members) organised by International Travel Agencies that have been set up and registered in Hainan Province and they are allowed to stay in Hainan for 14-21 days!
