About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I fly Los Angeles-Bejing-Hong Kong and return again thru Beijing. Is OK for transit visa?

My 48 hour layover is on return flight. I want to visit the Great Wall of China. Can I apply for the transit Visa through the airline? Does Hong Kong meet the third region criteria?

But your case is entitled to the 72h visa free transit for both trips in Beijing, so no transit visa is needed to apply for! And yes, Hong Kong is also regarded as the third region criteria.
