About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Will I be eligible for the transit visa if I prove my final destination is Thailand?

Hi

We fly from Hong Kong to China, and leave after 2 days. But my flight out of china to Bangkok connects again Hong Kong.

I am afraid not, you need to apply for a Chinese visa in advance.

Didn't realise the flights were going through Hong Kong so already booked for a couple days. What will happen when I arrive in beijing then??

Hi, will the ticket show HK as a transit place? Anyway, you will be refused entry if you do not have a visa. So better apply for it asap.
