About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Stockholm - Beijing with transfer to Shanghai

Hi, I'm flying with Air China Stockholm-BJ (t3) and from there fly to Shanghai. I land 09:40. What time do I need between the flights to catch? What happens to my luggage? Is it automatically transfered to shanghai, or do I need to do something?

If you will transfer in the same terminal, at least 120min is needed. If you will transfer between different terminals, you are advised to spare 150-160min!

Are you going to use Air China all the way? If so, you'd better confirm with your Air China that you hold the connecting boarding pass, with which your lugagge will b automatically transported to Shanghai and no need to collect and recheck in!

I was in touch with Air China regarding this. Apparently, you can not (according to them) get the luggage sent all the way to Shanghai without picking out luggage in BJ and then checkin again. This because of my trip consists of two tickets. So my question now is, how much time do I need at least for this tedious procedure? I am a quick person!
