About:Chinese Embassy in Ghana

I lost my chinese passport, but I do have a U.S. passport.

The question is: this is my first time to visit my parents in China after I got the U.S. passport. I used to visit them with my Chinese passport, but I lost it. Can I get my visa without Chinese passport? If not, what can I do to obtain it, so I can visit my parents?
Thank you,
Hong

Sorry, you should better contact the embassy directly for more details. As I know, your previous Chinese passport is a must for application.
