About:Beijing Botanical Garden

One day to see sites in Beijing

We arrive in BJ on April 25th at 5:00 AM and are staying at BJ Traders Hotel by Shangri-LA.
We have the entire morning and afternoon to see some of the sites in BJ before we begin our tour the next 3 days. Is it possible to visit the BJ Botanical Garden? Is it far form the hotel? What is the best way to travel to the Botanical Garden? Is it better to visit other places that day. The tour will be taking us to the Forbidden City and the Great Wall on the following 2 days.

The Botanical Garden is about 30 to 35km from your hotel and it takes about two hours to reach there if using the local public transportation system.

From your hotel, you can walk to Guomao Station to take the subway line 10 to Haidian Huangzhuang Station and change to line 4 to Beigongmen Station. After getting out of the station, you can take a taxi to the garden.

I think you can use the time for sightseeing the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven and the Houhai area, so that you can get close to old BJ culture.
