About:Beijing - Ulaanbaatar Trains: K23/ K24

Soft sleepers just on one way?

It looks like there are soft sleepers going from Hohhot to UB, but not the other way around.
Is that really the case? the 25H journey doesn't have soft sleepers?

The trains are operated alternately by China Railway and Mongolia Railway. Those operated by China Railway have soft sleepers, while those by Mongolia don’t.
