Hi, we'd like to travel from Beijing to the Danxia Mountains. Do you know how much the train from Lanzhou to ZY costs? Also, how much are the buses from the bus station to the landform? Our time is limited, do you have any other recommendations for this region? Thanks for your help.

The train tickets costs around 142RMB for sleeper and the train costs about 6 to 7 hours. If you want to know more detail, you can try to search in the Train Section on this website. If you use the local public buses, the fare is around 30 to 35RMB in total. But the public buses are not suggested, because it is hard for you to travel. It is suggested to hire a local car to travel and the fare is around 150RMB.

Hi Priyanka, we went last week and it was incredible! Have you been?If not, you can get a private car (we shared with others) to take you to Mati Si in the morning (beautiful snow capped mountains and monasteries within the cliffs) then to the Danxia landform to see the sunset on the rainbow coloured mountains, in the evening. Have a good trip :)
