transit visa in guangzhou

Question

Hell i have flight from newzealand via GZ and kunming to laos, i need to know if my transit be less than 10 hours and my luagage transfer automaticly and i dont go out from the airport, do i need transit visa as i am iranian . Please help me my flight is on 20th of april from auckland to GZ and from there to kunming and to destination which is loas, vientiane.Thank you

Since you only stay for no more than 24 hours, the visa is not needed, but you need to apply for a stay-permit when you are in GZ airport. For your luggage issue, if you have a connecting flight tickets or using the flights from the same airline company, usually, you do not need to collect your luggage. However, different airline company has different rules, it is suggested to call the airline company for consulting the detail information.
