About:Inner Mongolia Travel

Badain Jaran Desert in May

Hi,

Thanks for answering questions. Is May a good time to go to this desert? Also, I heard it can take some time to arrange travel and permits to go there. Can you tell me if I arrived in Hohhot how long it would take to arrange travel there, and then how long a trip usually lasts?

Generally, it is ok to go to the desert in May, but the ideal travel time is between Aug. and Oct.
As for the travel permit matter, I don't heard of it. But if you are sure that it is necessary, you'd better apply for that before departure instead of arriving there!

Generally, the travel route to the desert and other attractions nearby needs 7-8 days!
