how can i get from badain jaran desert at alxa youqi (inner mongolia) to yinchuan?

I know of a few bus/train routes but they all seem quite long and cumbersome.  Can you give me the shortest route?  Can I hire a taxi and, if so, at what cost?

I have no idea of your way, but it is costly and hard to hire a taxi or car for the route. It is almost 730km between. Well then, you should hire a car to Alxa Right Banner first. Then take a taxi or private car to Jinchang at a cost of around CNY200. After that, take a train to YC city.
