Visiting Longsheng Rice Terrace with parents

I plan to visit the Rice terrace in end of October. I am wondering if this place is good to visit in this month? Also, if I am taking my parents along, will this place suit veterans? I worry they get too tired if this place involves walking too much on rough terrain.

Yes, it will be during the golden/good season to visit the rice terrace.
Generally, there are many narrow alleys there and people usually wuld like to hike from Ping'anzhai or Dazhai to get to the terrace, but it is too much for your parents! So you are advised to take a bus or rent a car to the closeat area from the terrace and they can still have a good view of it!
