22 hours at kumning airport.

Question

Hello, I found this great page and though I'd ask a question myself. We're flying from Yangon in Myanmar to Osaka the 29 th of March, both flights with china eastern airlines. We have a lag at the airport for about 22 hours. Is there any hotels on hourly basis on this airport? And do you think that our luggage will be sent directly from Yangon / Osaka considering it's the same airline? Best wishesAnne Helland

For the luggage issue, it is probably transferred to the last destination since it is with the same airline. However, in order to make sure, you are still advised to contact the airline company for asking again. In the airport, there are hourly rooms, so  you can say there. Or you can go to the airport custom to ask whether you can get a stay-permit to get out of the airport. If you can get out of the airport, you can have a short visit about KM city.
