About:Visa Policy of China

Can I fly to China from India to catch another flight without a visa?

Hi, I'm from Hanoi and I'm going to Shanghai April 8-20. For a few days within my trip there, I'll be going to India. Apparently I need a double entry because it's Hanoi - Shanghai - India - Shanghai - Hanoi, but the Chinese embassy in Hanoi recently suspended it and I can only get a single entry one.

My question is: can I fly back to China from India without it(it'd expire when i leave China for India)? I dont even want to get out of the airport. I just want to take my flight home from Shanghai.

The problem is: I cant apply for 2 single entry at the same time and the flights from India to Shanghai and Shanghai to Hanoi are 2 separate ones. Some people told me I just need to show them my ticket but I'm worried they wont let me get on the plane to go back to Shanghai because I wouldnt have one anymore.

Please help!!!

Hi, a single entry is ok, and you can use free transit for your second entry to catch your flight back. Because visa is not required for a transit less than 24 hours, and you will remain in the airport transit area.
